• Participants were happy to see about the enhanced crossing concept at Lincoln St/Locust Street (including ramps, flashing beacons, striping).
• Participants were happy to see the proposed sidewalk improvements on the north side of Locus Street.
• Several participants expressed interest in extending pedestrian and bike facilities on Locust east across Hall Blvd to 85th Avenue to create a safe path to Metzger Park. Some participants also asked for the facilities to continue further to at least 70th Ave where sidewalks are present. The area east of Hall & Locust St is outside of City limits, located in Washington County. Comments were submitted to Shelley Oylear at Washington County.
• A request was made to add a southbound bike lane on Lincoln Street. City staff will have discussions with the school on this request.
• Requests were made to add left turn calming for drivers turning east and west onto Locust Street from Hall Blvd and to eliminate the eastbound left turn lane by turning it into a bike lane. This information has been shared with ODOT. They are making ADA upgrades to all four corners of the Hall Blvd/Locust Street intersection. Intersection improvements are expected to start in January 2023.
• A request was made to turn Locust St and Lincoln Ave into a 3-way stop. All way or multi-way stop control are typically used where the volume of traffic on the intersection roads are approximately equal and there are safety issues with reported crashes (5 within a year). SW Locust Street is a major collector that carries almost 6,000 vehicles per day and connects two arterials (Hall Blvd and Greenburg Rd). SW Lincoln Street is currently a dead-end street that serves the school and business center, the volumes are significantly lower. Priority is given to the higher volume street, Locust Street, in this case. 
• A request was made to change the existing soft-surface trail connecting Oak St to Lincoln St to a through street for buses only. The 2040 TSP calls for the Lincoln St right of way to be built out as a local road connection. However, the connection has not been prioritized for implementation in the near future. There is time to consider different design options or cross sections for the connection but it is unlikely to be used for school bus traffic only.
• A request was made to add sidewalk on school property from the northeast driveway entrance on Lincoln St to the trash collection area to avoid walking across the drop off/pick up driveway. The city and school are looking into this.
• Concern was expressed about vehicles using the bike lane to make east bound turns onto Locust St from Lincoln St during pickup hours.
• Concern was expressed drainage problems at the intersection of 90^th and Locust St.
• Concern was expressed about vehicles parking too close to the intersection on 87^th Ave and Locust St.
