Locust SRTS Project Area Map

SW Locust Street is a collector street that is missing sidewalk and has few crossing opportunities. SW Locust Street provides a key connection to Metzger Elementary School, the neighborhood trail on SW 90th Avenue, and to SW Hall Boulevard.

The City of Tigard was awarded funding through the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program to address safety deficiencies on SW Locust Street by upgrading the road to current urban standards.
