The City of Tigard does not own or operate any housing for low- and moderate-income households. Most affordable housing in Washington County is owned and operated by private companies, non-profit organizations, or the Housing Authority of Washington County. The links below provide a connection to resources. None of these programs are operated by the City of Tigard.

We have compiled a list of resources below to help you navigate community resources.

    Housing and homelessness services that provide emergency shelter and short-term rent assistance.

    Online and by-telephone system that helps people experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness find housing resources in Washington County.

  • Washington County Department of Housing Services:  503-846-4794
    Administers housing programs of Washington County and the Housing Authority.

  • Rent Well:  503-640-3263
    Free tenant education classes with a focus on helping renters with barriers to getting accepted for rental housing.
