Residential Parking Zone Permit Program
A Residential Parking Zone (RPZ) has been established for some streets around Tigard High School, to help alleviate parking problems caused by non-residential influences.
As it currently stands, the RPZ around Tigard High is the only RPZ in the City of Tigard, but others could be created in the future if neighbors wish to do so.
Permit Application and Rules
As a resident within the parking zone, you can apply for an on-street parking permit or guest pass, as provided in the residential parking zone plan. Permits are valid from July 1st to June 30th to coincide with the school year and must be renewed each year.
If you are unable to apply for the permit through the online application, then you may print a paper application and apply in person at the Tigard Police Department lobby.
