Traffic safety is a critical issue for everyone: drivers, cyclists, pedestrians and the greater community. That's why the Tigard Police Department has a dedicated traffic unit, and our officers take part in special enforcements throughout the year focused on distracted driving, DUII, car seats, seat belts and more. We also have photo enforcement cameras for red light and speeding violations at several intersections throughout Tigard, in places that have historically been problem areas for crashes.
Together, we can make the Tigard community a better place to walk, bike and drive. We believe safety comes first!
Pedestrian Safety
Tigard Police periodically conduct pedestrian safety enforcement campaigns.
