The annual Festival of Balloons in Cook Park is a summer tradition. Dozens of balloons take flight in the early morning skies (weather permitting), while several events and activities provide fun for the entire family. Carnival rides, a 5K run, a car show and beer garden are among the festivities each year.

Pride Parade and Festival

Tigard-Tualatin School District and the City of Tigard are hosting a pride festival which includes a parade! All activities are free.

The 27th annual Middle of Millen Drive Parade will be held on July 4, 2024 from 4-5 PM.

Organized by residents and enjoyed by all the locals, this home-grown parade always begins at 4 PM on the 4th of July.  Assembly will start at 3:45 on SW Millen Drive between SW 92nd Ave & SW 93rd Ave.

Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

Location:  Tigard High School Football Field
A family event featuring a drone show, live music, kids’ games, police and fire vehicles and a concession stand offering light snacks for sale. No pets, barbeques, alcohol, personal fireworks or smoking allowed on school grounds. As part of the 4th of July festivities, the Tualatin Valley Community Band performs.
