Complete a Library Card Application and take it to the library with your proof of identity and verification of address..
Adults
Q: How do I verify my identity?
A: Typically verification of identity is through a photo ID, but we'll also accept other official documents with your name such as a credit card, pay check stub, or voter registration card.
Q: How do I verify my address?
A: If your ID shows your current address, you're all set! Otherwise we'll need to see a document that shows your name and current address such as a piece of mail, bank statement, or school portal (ex. TTSD StudentVUE).
Teens and Children
Teens and children are eligible for library cards. They may verify identity through TTSD's StudentVUE or through verification by a guardian or parent.
Student Access Cards may also be available for those unable to verify identity and address.
Non-Residents
If you live outside the Library service area, you may get a card for a $140 annual fee. If you do not live in service area and can provide proof that you work or attend school in the Tigard city limits, you may be eligible for a free limited-use "Local Courtesy card."
If you have a library card from another Oregon library that participates in the Passport Program, you can get a free WCCLS card through that initiative.
