The Friends of the Library is dedicated to promoting and enhancing library services. It is a non-profit group that operates independently of the library. The primary source of the Friends’ income is their ongoing and periodic book sales. With those funds, they sponsor many library programs and the purchase of artwork and equipment to supplement the Library’s budget. The Friends also contributed funds for artwork when the current Library building opened in 2004.
