Project Description

This program is used for urgent projects to renew, repair, or replace sections of the sanitary sewer system that have failed or are near failure. Normal operations and maintenance includes work on the system to keep it functioning, however, this does not result in renewing or replacing the pipe or other parts of the system. 

TIMELINE: Ongoing 

FUNDING SOURCE: Sanitary Sewer Fund. 

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS: None. May slightly reduce ongoing maintenance costs by repairing or replacing older infrastructure.

WHY IT’S NEEDED: This is an annual program to preserve or replace portions of the city’s infrastructure.
