Irresistible and iridescent, fearless and pugnacious, hummingbirds are exquisite and extremely entertaining birds. Learn about their specialized biology, why their feathers sparkle, what their exclusive relationship is with flowers, and more with Marilyn Ellis, Oregon Master Naturalist and Certified Interpretive Guide. Marilyn currently volunteers as a Wildlife Counselor and Wildlife Hospital Assistant for Portland Audubon.
