The library provides a wide range of programs for children of all ages. They help develop early literacy skills and promote lifelong reading. A variety of Story Time programs for infants through age six, monthly activities for elementary school students, the annual Summer Reading program and many other programs develop and encourage imagination.

Story Walk Unveiling

Kids & Families | Library Backyard

Celebrate the beginning of this year’s Tigard Library Story Walk season with author Carrie Tillotson reading her new release, B is for Bananas. Then enjoy her first title, Counting to Bananas, in the Story Walk individually as families. A new story will be featured every month through October.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Program presented in partnership with Friends of the Tigard Library.
