Programs for Kids

The library provides a wide range of programs for children of all ages. They help develop early literacy skills and promote lifelong reading. A variety of Story Time programs for infants through age six, monthly activities for elementary school students, the annual Summer Reading program and many other programs develop and encourage imagination.

Super Readers: Wondrous Rex

Burgess Community Room | Kids in 3rd-5th grade

Calling all Super Readers! Are you a 3rd-5th grader who loves to read, talk about books, and do fun activities? Join other like-minded kids to talk about the book Wondrous Rex by Patricia MacLachlan and enjoy an activity together. 

All participants will receive a copy of the book to keep! You will receive an email when your book is available for pickup from the library. 

Registration for the January session begins December 26. Registration for the February session begins January 30. Register here.
