Sign up for Summer Reading at Tigard Public Library!

How It Works:

Kids, teens, and adults can pick up a free book and reading log June 1 through August 31. When the log is complete, bring it back to the Library. Kids and teens get a free book for completing Summer Reading. Adults get an entry to win a prize basket. 

Bonus Activities: 

Once you've finished your Summer Reading goal, complete bonus activities for a chance to win a grand prize for each age group!

Kids: win one of four collections of books!

Teens: win one of four $50 Powell's gift cards!

Adults: get bonus entries to win one of four prize baskets valued at $100! 

Summer Reading is made possible by the Ready to Read grant and Friends of the Tigard Library.

Getting Started as an Independent Writer: A Panel Discussion presented by NIWA

There’s an old saying that everyone has one novel in them. If you are inspired to take a try at writing your big story, please join us for this panel discussion by published independent writers from the Northwest Independent Writers Association. They will bring the latest news as well as advice, hints, and tips from across a range of genres. Don’t forget, National Novel Writing Month is coming in November! Register now!
