The library provides a wide range of programs for children of all ages. They help develop early literacy skills and promote lifelong reading. A variety of Story Time programs for infants through age six, monthly activities for elementary school students, the annual Summer Reading program and many other programs develop and encourage imagination.

DISplace exhibit curated by Five Oaks Museum

Visit the library’s backyard and view the mobile exhibit, DISplace which shines light on the widely unknown connection between Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Northwest. Learn about the people coming from and through the Hawaiian Islands to the Pacific Northwest and the impact they have made on the culture and industry of both locations starting as far back as 1787.
