The April and May Landlord Forum has been cancelled due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.
Tigard rental owners and managers are encouraged to participate in this free community service to help them better manage their rentals.
Landlord Forums are offered October through May and always conducted on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The 90 minute sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. The forums are held at the Portland Community College Willow Creek Campus conveniently located near the intersections of 185th and Baseline Road at 241 SW Edgeway Drive, Beaverton. There is no charge to attend and refreshments are available.
When PCC campuses are closed due to inclement weather, the forum will be cancelled.
The events are presented in partnership with Jeffrey S. Bennett, Attorney at Law and other attorneys representing Warren Allen, LLP.
Forums are provided at no charge. The 90 minute forums cover a host of helpful topics for landlords, rental property owners and managers. Planned subject matter includes legal issues, law enforcement matters and other ways to help you solve your problems relating to residential rental properties. Representatives from local law enforcement agencies and other landlord specialists will be on hand to provide easy access to the very people who can help you succeed.
Learn about screening methods, working with law enforcement agencies and personnel, creating rental agreements, mastering CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) and successful eviction procedures. Develop networks and dialogues between local landlords, organizations and other professionals. Emerge better educated and more involved.
This is a great opportunity for any landlord who wants to be more successful.
