Westside Express Service (WES) - Commuter Rail

wes stationTriMet's WES (Westside Express Service) is a commuter rail line serving Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin and Wilsonville. WES runs every 30 minutes, Monday
through Friday, during the morning and afternoon rush hour.

To ride WES, you'll need a TriMet ticket. You can purchase a ticket from the ticket vending machine at the station (debit/credit card only); from neighborhood ticket outlets including Safeway, Fred Meyer, New Seasons, Thriftway and Albertsons stores; or on your smart phone. TriMet fares are valid on all TriMet buses, MAX Light Rail, WES Commuter Rail and Portland Streetcar.

WES connects with SMART Transit in Wilsonville; routes within the city of Wilsonville
on SMART are free. However, there is a fare for the Salem Express that goes to and
from Wilsonville and Downtown Salem.

Southwest Corridor Light Rail Project

The Southwest Corridor Plan is a comprehensive planning effort to help address the impacts of future growth while preserving neighborhoods and creating more great places. The Southwest Corridor includes the area around and between Interstate 5 and Highway 99W. It stretches from Sherwood and Tualatin, through Tigard and to downtown Portland. A proposed new light rail line, also known as MAX, would run through the Southwest Corridor to connect downtown Portland, Southwest Portland, Tigard and Bridgeport Village in Tualatin.
