History
Community members helped to design this park through a master planning process in 2002. Bilingual (English-Spanish) meetings were held as part of the process. The park's name was chosen after the road and area of Tigard. Bonita means beautiful in Spanish. Bonita Park was funded in part by Washington County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
