SW McDonald Street Traffic Alert
On Monday, May 7, the city's contractor began replacing stormwater pipelines along SW McDonald Street in Tigard. During construction, traffic on McDonald Street will be reduced to a single lane between 103rd and 104th Avenues. Lane closures will take place weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, May 18. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes.

SW McDonald Street connects Pacific Highway (99W) and SW Hall Boulevard. More than 10,000 vehicles per day travel this roadway.

The city is moving forward with the master planning process for one of its newest community parks—the Summer Creek park property. This meeting is planned for Thursday, May 17 at the Tigard Public Works Building. The public is invited to share their ideas for the park.

The Commercial Crimes Unit within the Tigard Police Department is currently investigating an Organized Retail Theft which occurred at the Nordstrom’s store at Washington Square Mall in Tigard.
